Baby #3 has led a quiet, understated gestation, as I assume most other third babies have before him. With two other little boys on my hands, I’m happy to just let the one that can take care of himself take care of himself.
Everything is still pretty typical: heartburn, low energy, frequent bathroom breaks (often accompanied by a toddler), and a strong aversion to the eating and smelling of onions (I’m adverse to that anyway).
Thankfully, I still sleep well and have very little pregnancy pain. The nausea I dealt with for 2-3 months subsided some time ago, and that is by far my biggest challenge when pregnant.
I can’t believe it’s been 32 weeks already…I can’t believe how fast the due date is approaching and how much will happen in our family between now and then. We’re in a strange, limbo-like state in a big way, so clearly it’s the perfect time to have a baby 🙂
I wasn’t sure I wanted to mess with maternity pictures this time around…
Documenting myself in this state isn’t nearly as cute as I thought it was the first time. But then I found this beautiful maternity dress for $10 and decided I could handle a super awkward photo shoot just one more time.
Thanks to my husband and sister in law for making these sunny, foresty maternity pictures as little double-chin-ish as possible! That was no easy task.
